Aimpoint CompM4s

The CompM4 series is the beast of Aimpoint sights in terms of size and weight. Its durability and toughness are extremely proven. The US Army widely uses this device with the denomination M68CCO (Close Combat Optic).  

It has the same quality light transmission and bandwidth range as the T-2 or CompM5 series, but brings a wider window, more night vision intensities (7 as opposed to 4) and a staggering battery life of 80,000 hours (circa 8 years) as a result of using AA batteries.

Comes with Aimpoint LRP mount included. Two mounting heights are available by using or removing the provided 9 mm spacer: 

- a 30 mm (1.18 inch) which approximates an upper 1/3rd cowitness, we do not recommend this height on a standard AR-15 weapon, but it can be a good option on other weapons with a higher rail over bore

- a 39 mm (1.54 inch) which is Aimpoint’s interpretation of lower 1/3rd cowitness, we recommend this height on standard AR-15 weapons

We recommend using exclusively lithium AA batteries with this device.

We recommend using Loctite 243 on the mounting screws.

What are the differences between the CompM4s and CompM4/CompM4h?

- In the CompM4s, the battery compartment has been relocated to a lower position in order to reduce the profile of the device and improve field of view

- The CompM4s is 134 g heavier

- The CompM4 has a window 5 mm wider
