Founded in 1999 by an NCO of the Marine Corps Force Recon. It began selling the Magpul, a simple rubber accessory designed to aid soldiers in rifle magazine emergency reloads.

They also manufacture the PMAG magazines - arguably the most reliable on the market – and a whole line of weapons accessories that have proven themselves in armed conflict again and again.
