Magpul PMAG Gen 3 for AR-15 – 20 rounds, .300 Blackout

Magpul PMAG magazines are arguably the most tough and reliable in the world. The Gen 3 version adds an improved follower, upgraded baseplate, dot pattern for marking and modified texturing to improve grip.

Why specific .300 Blackout magazines?

.300 Blackout's parent case is 5.56 NATO and regular .300 Blackout rounds run fine in regular 5.56 mm magazines, but heavy subsonic blackout rounds (200-220 grains) have long bullets that cause feeding issues inside normal magazines due to the geometry of the guiding tabs. Specific Blackout magazines are modified not to have this problem.

20-round magazines make sense for compact weapons destined for low-profile and likely suppressed work.
