The Holosun HM3X-T is a 3x magnifier, nitrogen-purged, with a titatium body and Picatinny mount with 2 recoil lugs. A hinge allows to align it with a red dot or holographic sight when more accuracy or longer range shots are needed. When not needed, the magnifier can be flipped to one side to allow using the primary sight normally.

It comes with all the hardware necessary for its installation and a detachable Picatinny mount with a QD lever, as well as a diopter for adjusting optical sharpness to the eye of the shooter. This device can be mounted at an absolute cowitness (1.41 inches) height or, by using the supplied spacer, at a lower 1/3rd cowitness as interpreted by Holosun and Sig Sauer (1.63 inches). We recommend applying Loctite 243 on the screws and marking the screw heads to identify if they become untorqued.

This optic has a good eye relief, but due to its short length, it must be mounted in a very rearward position in the Picatinny rail to meet the eye of the shooter properly. Better eye relief can be achieved by removing (e.g. milling) the rear recoil lug with a Dremel or similar. NOTE: This will void the warranty.

What are the differences between the HM3X-T and the HM3X?
The differences are:
-    Both devices have the same eye relief according to the manufacturer, but the HM3X-T is lighter and shorter. This means it will have to be mounted further back in the Picatinny rail in order to adequately meet the pupil of the shooter, or the shooter will have to further lean into the optic
-    The HM3X-T is made of titanium, the HM3X of aluminium.
