Adapter plate – RMR on Glock MOS

Manufacturer-provided adaptor plates for red dot sights on pistols are usually heavy, thick, with inferior metals/screws/finishes and with loose tolerances. These factors imply that:
-    more stress is placed on the delicate screws
-    the action of the weapon is forced to move more weight after each shot
-    the plate loses its rigidity and begins curving, placing the screws under forces they’re not designed to withstand
-    the optic sits too high, potentially causing problems with holsters and/or cowitnessing mechanical sights through the window of your device

Made of durable and very light weight 7075 T6 aeronautical-grade aluminium (just like the receivers of good AR-15 rifles), this plate will adapt your Glock MOS to an RMR footprint, making it compatible with Trijicon RMR and SRO, Holosun 407C, 507C and 508T, and others. It is extremely lightweight, thin and has a quality finish.

The plate comes with quality screws, a threadlocker and a set of instructions in Polish, which we translate below for the convenience of foreign end users:

For mounting the plate and red dot, it is recommended to use a medium-power threadlocker and a torque of up to 1.2 Nm (10.62 in-lbs). Before final mounting, assemble the set (plate, red dot and replaceable screws) without using threadlocker and check whether the plate has adequate contact with the footprint with its full flat surface.

It is recommended to mark the screw heads with a marker pen in order to enable quick inspection of the torque.

The set includes replaceable threaded inserts and mounting screws which are recommended to be replaced once a year in case of very intensive use.

Due to problems of maintaining dimensional tolerances in the MOS system, together with red dot manufacturers, it may occur that the plate fits too tightly. In such an event, please contact us and we will replace the plate with one with looser tolerances.

We are end users of 2BME plates and we have come to appreciate their tight tolerances, thin profile and extreme light weight. We consider them to be comparable or better than similar plates coming from the US.
