Battle Belt 3 is constructed of 45 mm webbing and Curv composite. The dedicated 45 mm belt webbing is more stiff, more durable and thicker compared to standard webbing. That makes the entire platform more stable and heavy-duty.

The PALS/Molle frame is made of Curv composite. It's a durable material that won't break, fray or tear like laminate. The top and bottom rows are covered with binding tape and the gap between them is PALS/Molle compatible.

The inner side of the BB-3 is lined with 40 mm velcro hook. The outer belt can be combined with the inner pants belt (lined with velcro loop) or with a comfort pad. The large velcro area makes the platform stable, even under heavy loads.

The female half of the Nautic Cobra buckle is fixed. Adjusting webbing has velcro loop stitched to it for two reasons. One - it prevents self-loosening of the buckle. Two - you can fold the excess webbing and secure it with a One-Wrap strap.

Battle Belt 3 is not tested or intended to be used a rescue or secure attachment belt. Nevertheless, stitching of the female end is reinforced.

What are the differences between BB-1 and BB-3?

- BB-1 features changeable buckles, while BB-3 has a fixed buckle

- BB-1 uses a 25 mm buckle and BB-3 45 mm buckle

- The main chasis of BB-1 is Curv frame, while in BB-3 it's 45 mm webbing

- Cobra buckles of both sizes have the same strength, but some users prefer 45 mm due to load distribution when using D-Ring

- Both belts have similar stiffness and stability

What are the differences between BB-3 Nautic and BB-3 GT?

The Nautic has a metallic Nautic Cobra buckle, the GT has a polymer GT Cobra buckle which is lighter and cheaper.
