Trijicon RMRcc – miniature red dot for conceal carry pistol

The Trijicon RMRcc is no doubt the most trustworthy slim pistol red dot on the market. It is designed for slimline pistols such as: Glock 48 and 43X, Sig Sauer P365 series, S&W M&P Shield, HK SFP9 CC, Springfield Hellcat/HS Produkt H11, Walther PPS M2, etc.

The cc is a miniaturised RMR. It has inherited the family traits of the most successful pistol red dot in history: eternal battery, bluish window, night vision modes, resistant to the elements and neglect, indestructible.

The American company maker of the legendary ACOG scope has installed in this tiny surprise an electronics package actually more updated than the Type 2 RMR and more akin to the SRO. It allows a lock mode to fix the intensity of the dot and prevent the buttons from being activated by contact with our body, clothing, etc.

Both Trijicon and Aimpoint seem to think that 3.25 MOA is an acceptable dot size for a pistol optic – and so do we.

It uses the same CR2032 battery as the Trijicon RMR. The windage and elevation adjustments do not have audible or tactile clicks, but visible hashmarks, each of which represents 3 MOA.

We recommend milling the slide of a non-MOS (or other adapter plate system) pistol and mounting the device directly on the slide. It will prove more durable this way, and the device will sit more snug on your slide.

However, if you have an MOS or similar adapter plate system, be aware that RMRcc plates will place the optic considerably higher than a direct-mount solution.
