Magpul B.A.D. Lever

The B.A.D. (Bolt Assistance Device) lever is the ultimate cheat when it comes to upgrading AR-15 manipulation. It enables bolt manipulation (release and catch) with the strong hand, and shaves off noticeable fractions of second when performing reloads, clearing malfunctions, etc. If “traditional” style manipulations are preferred, the B.A.D. lever still allows them.

Safety concerns (device inside the trigger guard) are actually disproven by the track record of this item.

The device clamps on to a standard AR-15 bolt catch/release with a torx screw (hardware provided). We recommend adding Loctite 243 to the screw threads.

Please note the B.A.D. lever is compatible only with milspec STANAG bolt-release levers. It will not work with modified levers such as Daniel Defense or HK 416.

We run B.A.D. levers on most of our weapons and consider them one of the most essential upgrades of the AR-15 platform.
